Full day cookery courses give us the scope to cook a wide range of dishes on a theme or a particular culinary style. Harmony House cookery workshops cover similar themes but concentrate on specific dishes or techniques.

Coming on one of our cookery courses and travelling some distance? Make the most of your special day and stay with us the night before your course. For a special treat stay on for a day or two and visit the many attractions and festivals in the nearby historic city of York.

Not to be missed is a visit to Betty’s of York or the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors. For a little retail therapy McArthur Glen designer outlet is only a 5 minute drive from Harmony house.

Bring a friend or partner to join you on your cookery course or to do their own thing visiting The National Railway Museum in York or Elvington Air Museum whilst you enjoy your cookery course. Then spend your second day sightseeing or shopping together

Bring a few of your friends or family for a get together and to cook your own special meal one evening. We’ll serve and clear away! Enjoy a weekend bonding or just have fun together at peaceful relaxing Harmony House.

Our special Tariff is for a double or twin room with a 2 night minimum stay at the weekend. Accommodation at Harmony House combined with a course starts from £60 per room per night with a light breakfast on the course morning and full English on subsequent mornings.
